The report provided an update on bringing forward redevelopment proposals for Tonbridge town centre. A summary was given of the key issues to be determined by the Council in due course and the estimated programme for progressing the project.

The Cabinet resolved that:

The approach outlined in the report and the expenditure recorded in section 1.6 thereof be noted and endorsed and the Management Team be authorised to continue discussions and negotiations on that basis, including the commissioning of specialist advice as necessary within the budget allocated to the project.

Reasons: As set out in the report of the Management Team (contains exempt information).
